Victoria the only state that doesn’t have an online sexual assault reporting tool.

Labor won’t fund it.

Proud the Liberal Nationals committed to deliver this important support for victims of sexual assault & better hold perpetrators to account. #springst https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/surge-in-sex-assault-reports-but-hundreds-may-remain-hidden-20210417-p57k1l.html

Vale to one of the giants of the Liberal Party, The Hon. Andrew Peacock.

I met Andrew on the day I was sworn in as Member for South West Coast. It was a personal thrill for me and I was honoured he took the time to have a chat and to pass on a few tips and tricks is use today.

Over the past year, Victoria has seen an alarming reduction in breast screenings, first as a result of pre-COVID funding cuts by the Andrews Government, then as a consequence of ongoing lockdowns and now additional Andrews Government funding problems. The result is 29,000 Victorian women may miss out on an early diagnosis and miss out on receiving life-saving treatment for breast cancer. No Victorian should miss out on life-saving breast screening services. That’s why as part of the Victorian Liberal Nationals Parliamentary advocacy, we are seeking 29,000 Victorians to sign up and pressure the Andrews Government to reverse their cuts to breast screening services in Victoria. To lodge your support for this campaign, you can sign the online petition at www.WomensHealthVIC.com See MoreSee Less

Today the Victorian Liberal Nationals announce a plan to modernise reporting of sexual assault to empower survivors to report their case on their terms. Flexible reporting options will support survivors coming forward, act as a therapeutic tool and help prevent future offending from occurring. Victoria is the only state that doesn’t have an informal reporting option and we are calling on The Andrews Labor Government to back our plan and work with the Victorian Liberal-Nationals to urgently introduce these reforms.
