In Question Time in Tuesday, Premier Daniel Andrews evaded questions as to whether he will forcibly remove CFA volunteers from 35 fire stations right across Victoria, including Warrnambool and Portland, if the organisation is split.
Warrnambool and Portland have a proud history of volunteers protecting the community; Daniel Andrews’ secret push to split the CFA will mean our community loses these volunteers.
Warrnambool and Portland Fire Stations have served their community with the upmost professionalism, yet Daniel Andrews thinks they aren’t doing a good enough job, I disagree and standby our local firefighters.
For nearly two years now Daniel Andrews has been at war with Victoria’s 60,000 volunteer fire fighters. He has not only shown a complete lack of respect for our volunteer fire fighters, but he is putting the safety of Victorians at risk by breaking up something that works.
