Member for South West Coast Roma Britnell will make a donation of $5285 to WRAD’S The Lookout, following the success of a raffle organised to aid the fund raising campaign.
The Raffle was drawn today, with Alison White from Warrnambool being the lucky winner. She will enjoy a luxury High Tea for four people at Parliament House, with Limousine transfers to and from Melbourne.
The prize was donated by Mrs Britnell and made possible with the support of Garry Lane’s Limousines of Warrnambool.
Mrs Britnell said the response to the raffle was phenomenal – with people going out of their way to make a donation.
“People were making donations without buying a ticket,” she said.
“The whole Lookout fund raising campaign has once again shown how generous our community is. We’ve shown time and time again that if we want something, we pull together and make it happen. This is no exception.
“Thank you to everyone who brought a ticket for the raffle I’m so pleased to be able to hand over more than $5000 to such a worthy cause.”
