Victorian motorists continue to be neglected.

The lives of Victorian motorists continue to be neglected as a result of the financial mismanagement of Daniel Andrews.

Roma Britnell MP, Member for South West Coast questioned the Andrews Labor Government for not funding any upcoming major road projects in South West Coast.
Regional Victorians will have to continue their gamble on road safety as the South West Region Alliance has its fundings shrouded in a fog of uncertainty.
“What we are hearing is a drying up of funding to road construction companies who are responsible for undertaking major road upgrades. I am led to believe currently no budget has been allocated to any upcoming major projects, even when the roads budget was already cut by 45% since 2020, including another 25% in this years disastrous budget”.
“It is just deeply, deeply concerning this government, does not appear interested to allocate a single cent for upcoming major road projects in South West Victoria”.
“Why is this government hiding and cutting important road funding and major projects on our regional roads at a time where our roads are in a disastrously unsafe condition and have never been worst”.
“I am calling on the Andrews Labor government to immediately restore clarity and funding towards their $150m per year South West Region Alliance, responsible for major road projects in South West Victoria.”
